Getting defensive and acting superior to all your customers is not a good trait.
Not sure whatever happened to customers are usually right...
You shouldn't have to ask for an invoice number, maybe if it was taken care of correctly in the first place or handled better from the start of a problem, all these members with bad experiences wouldn't be so negative.
