Wow I didn't know if I was going to get ripped on putting this thread up.
It seems like the magazines right now are just ass kissing mitsubishi for redesigning it. But as it has been said, it is more for a DD now. I don't think they sold very many evos as they hoped. So then they made the evo X more for the public so that they could sell more. To me, it just seems that we are loosing many of the modern day muscle cars that are affordable. Evo has gone soft, no more supra, S3, RX-7, Skyline (which is comming out soon but it is going to turn soft as well so that it can sell to the public), MR2, Eclipse lost its AWD, camaro, firebird, Mustang is still there actually. The later 90s were a good generation of cars. These new cars have gone kind of soft.
However I can pick up all the used ones cheap
They aren't using it for the WRC because mitsubishi is done giving money to the drivers. Subaru hasn't yet. They pay their drivers with lots of parts. If any team will compete with the evo X they would have to buy their own parts and that is if it will make a good rally car. They kept the engine to only 2.0L so that they could say that it didn't loose it rally heritage.

I think they should look back on the s3 and they should have put a 6 cylinder twin turbo, or something really wild in it.
