I cannot imagine the wing weighs too much, the entire trunklid assembly with the wing is pretty light...light enough to pick up with one hand fairly easily, which is saying quite a bit because of its size. However, this is no different than any other evo trunk/wing out there, it is the stock piece which was replaced by an RS trunk painted black.
I've been tempted to fit this to Anna's 2002 lancer (es) but haven't had the time/want/need
It would probably fit...
