Taking it somewhere to have the gasket changed will take longer than just doing it. Valve cover gaskets are easy and fast.

Its not the thing of I NEED my car all the time and don't have time that way.. Its just that I am so busy with school and work and homework that I have no spare time to do it. I have used different brands of oil, but they have all been 5W30.

A can of Seafoam in the oil for 100 miles before an oil change helps as well. The old way to do the same thing was use a quart of ATF, then drain and change oil and filter.

I'll go ahead and do the Seafoam thing since unfortunately this oil change is going to be inevitably late. I most definitely do not have time to take the lifters out and clean them.
