For a car, I have gotten to be a big fan of the older S-10s. Back at home we have an '83 S-10 that is basically the beater. It is not umcommon for it to sit for a couple of months but it has yet to let us down. The 'ole S-10 starts better than any other vehicle my family owns when it gets cold and shitty. As for selling your car, like I suggested a while back, advertise it down around SE MN, NE IA, and SW WI.
