Yeah, I have been there too. One of my best friends still owes me a chunk of change, but has turned around and realizes his mistake now. I always used to lend friends anything, but as you get older you get a little wiser. I have learned to say no, but it took the same type of experiences.

Good luck getting everything back and don't be afraid to confront them. Part of it may just be a misunderstanding.
