Like I said wasn't trying to generalize or say anyone here does it because of self esteem issues, shit I used to have one my self. Doesn't have to be self esteem issues at all for most people, but that is why a lot of people out there have them. I just like facebook better because I see that more as a place to meet people when you just get into college.
