Did you put that little ring clip around your throw out bearing? It holds the bearing to the fork. If you put that on, and it clipped on, in place, I can't imagine the TOB being installed wrong.

Take the slave cylinder off, and play with the fork. Make sure you only have "in and out play" (fork moves towards engine, away from engine) and no "side to side" play (wiggle from fron of vehicle to rear). I'm thinking that will let you know about the TOB being installed wrong, or the fork not seated on the pivot ball correctly. That's my hunch...

Also, I never tried this, maybe someone knows. Are those rubber breathers on the tranny removable, and if so could this be used to take a peep inside the tranny with like an LED light, to see what's going on?
