Re: tire installers?

I found a better deal at a Firestone dealer than I did at Discount Tire, or anywhere online. Granted they were having a "Buy 3 get 1 free" sale, which brought the price down. I was set on the tires I wanted for my truck and Discount didn't even carry the tires. Tire Rack had them, but after shipping and mounting it would have been about the same price, but alot more hastle. So if you know what tires you want, and have time to wait for a sale, you might find better deals elsewhere.

Plus, when I bought them from the dealer, they gave me free lifetime rotatation (and I'll have to check but it might include balancing too.) And one more thing, never buy the replacement warranty thing. 9 times out of ten you wont even use it, and they wouldn't offer it to you if they weren't making huge margins on it anyway. You're better off saving your money, and if something happens, just buy a new tire.
