The factory head is surfaced for a composite headgasket. When you switch out to a MLS headgasket you need to make sure that the head surface is surfaced properly for that specific type of headgasket.

In short, bring your head to a machine shop, tell them what you are running for a headgasket, and go from there.

Of course, now 15 people will chime in after me and say how they swapped it with no ill effects.

My question to you is what is wrong with the composite? I've made well over 400awhp (here), 500fwhp (elite) on the composite at 37+psi boost...whats your setup?
