In my mind, thats a little on the rice side for me to do any of that. Now, the hood scoop (again, my stupid opinion) would look bad, BUT it would do wonders in reducing underhood temps. I'd say it'd be fine for a daily driver... evo's, wrx, etc have them? You don't need hood pins at all on a stock hood, so there really is no point (hood pins are kinda ugly).
Why don't you get a Carbon fiber hood, paint it red, but then do what you wanted with the Mitsu logo/words showing off the carbon fiber?
Still just as ricey, but at least you have a weight saving hood! Haha.
