Re: Ground zero falls silent to mark 9/11

This morning on the local radio station I listen to out here they played a bit from a lady who called into a radio station in New York the morning of 9/11. She was frantically telling the DJ about the first plane crashing when the second one hit, and she could see it all from her balcony at home. She was screaming and crying and trying to tell the DJ what happened. It was so sad. Then they played a few of those compelation songs they made right afterwards with songs such as "proud to be an American" and statements from George Bush. It was all very eerie, and I even today got chills.
