If you plan on making any notable power you are going to want to upgrade a few things. You are going to want to get an Alto (sp?) end clutch kit, a translab shift kit, and a torque converter. You can have your torque convertet taylored for your application. You can tell most companies what you want the stall to be set at and they will set it there. It really depends on your setup and goals for the car.

If you are going to drag it then you want the stall high enough so you can brake torque it and build some boost and RPMs at the line without overpowering your brakes. If also helps on the street to get your RPMs in a range where your turbo can be effective if that is the power adder you are using.
