Yup, I didn't know anybody off of style back in the day when it first started (think body kits
). I remember hearing on the old MIAC board how people hung out at the Spin Cycle out on University and decided to check it out. While there I met CVD, Hughes, and Cher. They introduced me to others, and the rest is history.
I guess I'm trying to say if you don't show up to events (or show up and keep to yourself) you'll never get to know anyone.
