Re: 14b boost question

I would get a 2g mas first and a boost gauge.

I had mas over run with the stock 1g mas when I did anything around 16psi.

Then I would look into fuel upgrade and management first before an fmic.

As the Fmic wont help you as much as the fuel upgrade & management.

From my experience, when I was on the sidemount with my 14b, I had killed my fuel pump running 18psi.

And remember, when I was doing above 20 psi on the 14b, I had 550cc injectors and an SAF-C and fuel mods to help me do above 20 psi.

With the 450cc injectors, you'll start to over run the injectors at 18psi. If not, around that mark. Let alone if you still have the 1g mas, you'll run into mas over run too. Also I would look into getting an exhaust, as anything above 16psi, you're stock exhaust wont be as efficient anymore.

For right now, since you have no mods whatsoever, I'd leave it at stock oost, since also that you do not have a boost gauge to monitor how much boost you are doing.

I would also look into getting a logger to monitor your knock. Every car will react differently to modifactions.
