Well, I found the root of the problem. One of the blades on the turbine wheel is chomped in half, and the whole thing must be way off balance now. There must be some sort of bearing failure as well, as it was leaking oil out of the feed line area, but not sure what the deal is there.

Oh well, on to bigger and better! I'll rebuild this one & re-sell it. It was a great turbo!
