You guys are too funny
It's funny to listen to everyone post their times, but then follow it with "I had issues" ... clutch was shot, had shifting issues, traction issues, launch issues, car was breaking up past 7k, etc..etc.. We're all guilty of it. My best is 12.05 @ 117 (last year) but I know that's not the fastest car on here. It is in my area though. I went out to Rock once this year, but like everyone else "I had issues"
The tensioner that keeps the a/c belt tight, unscrewed itself and was ready to fall off. Didn't catch it till I was home. I think that caused major vibration, thus knock. It's pretty close to the knock sensor. It was either that or shitty year old opened C14 gas or a combo of both. Could only get a 12.10 and that was the first run of the day. Won't go for 11's until this f'n weather cools down.
These times were on a 50trim, at roughly 22-23# full weight 99GSX. I'm happy.
