Ethanol is tough on aluminum and rubber components but not nearly as bad as methanol.

If you are looking for long term reliability with no corrosion problems you would probably have to replace everything that comes in contact with the fuel. I am not sure if engine internals or intake manifold would be included but surely fuel lines, fpr, injectors, and fuel rail.

If you want I can give you the e-mail address of one of my professors at school. He is a HUGE ethanol freak and has converted a few cars to run on it. He has spoken on the subject at the state Capitol when they were trying to increase the ethanol content to 20% a while ago. He is a hell of a nice guy and I am sure he would be happy to help.
