[NOT THE BLUE LAMPSHADE]

When I drove to San Diego last summer I came back through AZ, NM, TX, up to MN and the whole way through AZ and NM we got stopped every hour or 2 at checkpoints. I think there may have been something going on with boarder jumpers and shit and it made the way back take FUCKING FOREVER. We tried to get to TX the first night on the way home but couldn't make it since it got so damn late with all the stops. They weren't short either, sometimes, we'd have our vehicle look inspected and what not amd it took 30 mins one time having to uload 4 peoples luggage and repack the car we were in, which was my old modded out neon. And then when they asked us where we were from and going to they were really suspicious about us going to MN. They asked us "What's in MN?" even after looking at our IDs which say where were fucking from for christs sake. I just think it's completely fucked up how you get treated in those states with all the boarder insecurities in those states and it wastes everyones time tryin to get places.
