1994 TSi "all stock, no mods" 6bolt

Hey if anyone can help me out or had this problem before, I'd appreciate it. Theres this thumping noise after my car died from the power steering fluid dripping to my alternator and killed it. Towed it home then got it running again, now theres this thumping noise coming from my intake manifold and turbo is somehow out!? Turbo just doesn't kick in... are they relative to each other?
