Think about what a psi is, a pound per square inch. If you have an inch, that would be a bound. Do you think that little ball in there is close to a square inch of surface area?? I would guess more like .25 in^2. Which would put your crude little test at 22psi. I would put the accuracy of your test at + or - 30 psi
