I have a 95 AWD automatic transmission. While cleaning the grease off of the bell housing, I noticed a hole on the back side of the transmission. It's a 14mm bolt that threads into the starter (casing). The hole looks like someone used a rediculously wide 14mm socket and drove in the bolt. I can see the torque converter perfectly. I'm not familiar with transmissions at all. Is this hole supposed to be here?
