Racing without the tree just puts more drama into the show. I think it's meant to be like street racing but instead it's at a track. It's kinda like the whole Fast n Furious 1 thing, Lose the race, you lose your car. They do get whiny at times but don't forget, their cars are on the line. I'm just wondering if there isn't some sort of cash payout for being on the show though. Who would ever sacrifice their ride? I just like it because it's drag racing period. Better than watching NASCAR shit.
