come to think of it, there was an article in Modified awhile ago written by Martin @ AMS about this very topic. from what i remember, in summation, it said that the 2g head outflowed the 1g head to about 7k rpm, after which the giant ports on the 1g finally did something.
so for all out race, when all you care about is the 7-9k rpm powerband, the choice is obvoius. for everything else, the choice is again, obvious
