Ive gotten tickets for it as well. The 1st one was $90 and the 2nd one was $140. After that I just put it back on. The 1st time I actually hit a curb and busted the whole bracket minutes before getting pulled over. I explained it to him, and even showed him the busted up pieces I had laying on the floor, but he wasnt biting. Either was the judge. $90..
