If you want to get out of your hobbie, your most likely not going to get your whole investment back. Cars are a bad investment from the get go, not to mention mods don't make the book/loan value any higher.
I would actually believe that for the general public mods bring down the value of the car. Would you want to go out and buy a car you don't know a whole lot about that has a bunch of stuff done to it by someone you dont know? And then pay more money for it?
