Painting is not that tough. You can tape off the interior and leave the doors open to spray the doorjambs, same with the hatch and hood. Leave the roof and B-pillars factory black, they look like crap painted body color. You can even get a pretty decent paint job out of Maaco on the cheap, but expect to fix runs and stuff, all fixable with some color sanding and a good buff job.

I just want a black car! I think I'm just gonna fix my car, sell it, and go buy the nicest black 1G I can find, reguardless of price. Or should I just get a decent shell, strip it, and have that painted, and them swap everything over?
