Average price for a good condition non-eprom ecu is $75-100. I'll have to check the few we have in inventory to see if they are good (not sure).
The eprom's go for $200-400. The eprom is a nice feature if you are going to use it as a tuning aid (socket it, and burn chips). It is not required to make a vehicle run.
If his car is a 91, all 91-94 manual transmission turbo ECU's will work for him.
