Switching pins 2 and 3 is all you ever have to do when going from a PC to a Palm. Some palms may not work, so make sure you have a compatible model. Likewise, some laptops (older I think) have really picky serial ports and they won't pick up the signal. Since you are making a passive cable, this 'may' be a problem. If you still can't figure it out, contact me and I can ship you one for like $16. LMK, Jeff.
