If the caliper if roze or hanging up, it will be the piston that's sticking. Sometimes the pins do dry up but not very much. Double check the level of the fluid in the master cylinder to tell if your pads are worn.
Also remember, the rear pads are rarely ever replaced as they are not used as much as the front ones. You could go through many sets of front pads before you go through a set of rear pads. Check those to make sure they are not worn down either.
