I say you do what we talked about.
Your car is very clean, I don't even know if I would drive it in the winter to be honest, and I am TOTALLY against cars being garage queens.
Do a simple drop and struts if you have money for them, to make it actually handle decent. Then depending on mileage do a Timing belt so you don't have to worry about that, I can help you if you want to, and then just all the basic maintence. Trust me, a 420a is not worth modding in any sense of the word since (for a DSM at least) there is a much better alternative (4G63)

and AWD.
But if you don't find a decent winter beater then just drive the damn thing, then next summer or whenever you have money, but a AWD DSM, preferably 1g
