Re: Need some help...
Go to the member offerered services section, Elite, LSE, and SLS all sell ACT clutch kits I am sure. Send the one of your choice a PM with what you want or better yet just call.

Re: Need some help...
How many reviews could you have read within 34 minutes that could effect your choice?
Either way I'd call Elite, LSE, or SLS and discuss your setup and goal with them and see if they suggest anything other than what you've already looked at. |

Re: Need some help...
That 2600 is going to love your 7bolt. If you have a 7bolt that is...

Re: Need some help...
I ordered a Southbend DXD from LSE this afternoon. I know Josh said he was busy earlier but I got a hold of him and he set me up.

Re: Need some help...
Shindley built him a race 6 bolt

Re: Need some help...
shindley race 6 bolt = stock 7 bolt
haha -Colin |
Re: Need some help...
What the fuck are you doing with a "race 6 bolt" when you can't even change your own clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, and SS clutch line?
|
Re: Need some help...
For your 7 bolt, you would have been better off with a SouthBend clutch like I have. I have the DxD OFE one. They are less clamping pressure than a 2600 but the disk is way more efficient thus not needing all that clamping force which is hard on the crank bearings. If ACT would just build better disks they wouldn't need those high # of pressure plates. I will stick with SouthBend. This is not a biased opinion. The clutch before this one was an ACT 2600.
