hello every one
I just got me an 1995 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD so I though I may join here and get some info about these motors and about turbo cars as I know nothing about turbos.
the car have a few problems, and I'm going to need some help.
I live in Fridley MN. :)

Hello, what sort of problems does your car have?

Re: whaassssssup

AC clutch pulley
valve cover gasket

and I just read the CrankWalk problem on these cars and that get me worried

Re: whaassssssup

The valve cover gasket is a cheap and easy fix. Just get the gasket, half-moon, and 4 spark plug donuts from a Mitsu dealership and waalaa, no more leaks. As for the crankwalk, don't worry about it unless you get it. You could also have a shop (LSE) or someone nearby (JET) check your crank-play for you to see if you have signs of a nearing crankwalk fatality or not. If you do an aftermarket clutch, stay away from the ACT 2600 (or any other high preasure preasure plate system) to help prevent it.

Worrying about crankwalk is like worrying about getting a terminal illness. You can check for it and worry about it but ultimately it does you no good. The best thing you can do is have a plan in place just in case it happens.
