Yeah, was taking off my saturn flywheel and i was smacking it with a breaker bar, It was slideing off... u'd have thunk i'd have hung on to it or somthing knowing it was gonna be falling off soon... but no I just had my left hand up in the general area, well the flywheel fell off and found my ring fingernail and wedged it against somthing solid. I figured I'd post this to show that one should be slightly more carefull when removing a flywheel...

You fucker, I was hungry too. Done it many times, had a tranny fall out of JETs car about 1 foot onto my fingers on the ground, that sucked.

Yeah those ring gear teeth are sharp. I have a Fidanza flywheel those bastards are somewhat sharp as a MOFO. Dam you got greasy hands. Wash up dude :D

Dropped a block of salt on my toe once, it looked similar. When I was 5 I was standing behind a door with my fingers between it and the frame and someone closed it. Looked identical except for the grease. The shitty thing about it is that it will hurt til it fully grows back.

Yea I was taking the flywheel off on my 2g and I didn't realize how heavy it was so I was bracing myself with one hand and yanking at the flywheel with the other and then... flywheel came off but I held it all the way to the floor and it landed on my finger. My finger looked like two fingers in one. Make sure you keep that thing clean, infections are bad.

Ouch. Never had that happen to me yet and hope it never does. I had my whole finger nail come completely off when I was younger. Don't remember how it felt though.

yeah, I had my finger smashed in a locker once, nail EVENTUALLY fell off. most of my nail was gone instantly... I went and looked at the flywheel later, there was flesh still stuck to it... hahahaha and when I put a new gauze pad on I kinda looked at it, and u could see the mark the tooth of the flywheel made, because it had punched though the flesh under the nail too. It was definatly a good kill... cept it was my finger...

na, I lucked out, its my left hand ring finger that is F-ed up...I thought about that though... If it was my right....
