Job Opening
We have a job opening at work. It just became available today and is not in any papers yet. We are a up and coming company that makes stoves that burn corn. We have another model of stove coming out for next year and a forced air furnace. The company has a ton of potential and is growing rapidly. We are located in Rogers.
The opening is for a service technician. You would be answering level 1 tech questions and doing service calls as needed. We have a company truck that would be driven for the service calls. The time in and out of the office would be about 50/50. The stoves are fully computer controlled, so there is some electronics knowledge needed and basic mechanical ability. It isn't anything overly complicated though. Pay will probably be $14-$16/hr depending on qualifications, possibly higher for the right person. I haven't heard back on the pay yet. 2 weeks vacation, sick days, etc for benefits. There are about 35 employees and tons of room for advancement. This is a Technical Support Technician 1, there will be room to move to a level 2 within a year. Summer is the slow season, so that is sweet! Send a resume to justint@bixbyenergy.com |
Re: Job Opening
Sounds like a good opportunity for someone! You guys don't have any openings for any sort of Purchasing or Inventory Control people do you?
|
Re: Job Opening
You could put something in for purchasing. The guy we have now is doing a great job, but we are going to have more products pretty soon and he will need someone else to take care of some of that.

Re: Job Opening
Jet I'll be sending in a resume shortly, Jenny and I were actually looking at possibly buying a house in that area. But we're still discussing our future plans, etc.

Re: Job Opening
Thanks Jet. I'm not asking for me, I was asking for my dad. He just found out that they are turning his company into a print only shop, and they are downsizing a shit load, so he's losing his job.

Re: Job Opening
a friend of a friend has one of those that heats his basement.
I think he said it takes 40-50 a month to run it. His heating bills dropped by about 180 during winter too :-O and to be honest, with the heating costs for natural gas, electric and oil. Your company is going to make sooo much money. damn, i might quit my job :) |
Re: Job Opening
ya, i think if i owned an actual house, I'd get one. But I don't think the association will let me put one in my townhome.

Re: Job Opening
see if they will pay for my school and kick in some good 401k and stock and get in the upper 16 range, I could make a schange then ;) It would be so nice to work that close to home again.
Let me know when anything in accounting comes up ;) |
