Best looking black wheels on 1g/good winter tires
 

I'm looking for your opinions about black wheels that look good on a 92'eclipse. My car is black and i really like black rims with the chrome lip. throw me anything, how many spokes doesn't matter. As for winter tires i'm just trying to get some decent winter tires for a reasonable price, it's for a 92 gsx if that matters. thanks for all your ideas and advice on this thread.

For winter, Just get steelies to go with your winter tires. After all, its only winter.
I think its $50 a steel ?

I like Rota Slipstreams. I ordered them from two different vendors, but neither were able to get me them. Pretty lame, so I gave up on them. But I still think they'd look sweet!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those wheels the Spoon knock-offs everyone and their mom puts on their Hondas?

I'd suggest Rota Sub Zeros in Royal Black with a polished lip. Split 5 spoke design.

Yes they are the spoon knock-offs. I've yet to see a DSM in person that has them on, but I've seen a few picsof 2g's with em, but have never even seen a PIC of a 1g with them. I think it'd look pretty sweet. Just simple, light, and I think makes the car look ready to tear it up! I ordered them in Flat Gunmetal from machiii and jaydm.com. Neither had them, I was told that it would take a little while because there were only 3 rims out there and so they put in an order for 1 more directly with Rota. 6 monhts later, they still didn't have it, so I took my money back.

If you get 17s Ill sell you my almost brand new winter tires- Nokian Hakkepillitas 225/45/17, they handle awesome.

I'm not sure what kind Alec [shiftygears] had, but his were black with a polished lip. Very nice looking. My rim of choice for any black car. Maybe if he is around we can get him to post up a pic of them for us.

Yeah what kind of rim are those? I wouldn't mind those on my 2g, Im looking for a multi-spoke black rim with a polished lip.
