Re: Forklift vid
I was not expecting it to go in that direction, i have no idea what they were trying to prove. Was there some sort of safety message in there, i don't know.

Re: Forklift vid
Wow that is the most disgusting safety video I have ever seen.
And I was a safety instructor/safety team member for General Mills for 6 months. (forklift operator). Those were all worst case senerio's. I've heard of them all happening before, even seen a few (product nearly dropping on people and killing them, etc). Only 93x would find that. Forklifts can be and are deadly equipment. The ones I operated were 10,000lbs and could top out at 7.5mph. It doesn't sound like alot, but couple that with -11 degree weather, and you have a dangerous formula. |
Re: Forklift vid
I've gone a record max speed of 13 mph on one at my uncle's work place, I had help with a little hill of course..haha. They arent meant to be fooled with. I almost tipped one over turning too fast....not a good idea. It's been like 3 yrs since I've operated one.

Re: Forklift vid
We had diesel 6, 12 and 20 tons in the Navy. I was one of the few guys with enough balls to maneuver one around all the F-14's and A6's in the hangar bay in stormy weather.
For fun, we could get them to do smoky burnouts by putting the front tires in a oil puddle and chaining the back to another forklift. I think they did around 25mph. Ahhh, the good old days. |
