well my g/f of 2 months just broke up with me about 15 minutes ago :( kinda bummed out. not that it was real serious, but still, kinda sux. Sole reason is because im not religious. Just outta the blue i dropped her off at her car just 15 minutes ago, and she said we can't go out anymore because i don't believe in what she does. everything was going so great, and all a sudden like totally out of the blue, she tells me this. why couldn't she have done it earlier so i coulda atleast got my money back for the necklace i got her for xmas :rant: anyway, just thought id share. latez

That really sucks. You know, the only reason she didn't do it earlier was because she wanted the gifts. At least, that's what I think. Women are weird.

the serious relationship isn't that bad cause you still have freedom. Marrige is a whole differant story.

Consider yourself lucky. Religion is a huge thing when it comes to compatibility. I married a girl years ago that was basically an agnostic, while I've been a Christian my whole life. Things were fine for a few years but went down hill and she basically gave me a choice, my beliefs or her. I chose my beliefs and don't regret if for a minute. She was cheating on me with an ex-boyfriend and wouldn't have come back anyway, so I didn't grovel like many do. I'm now married to a wonderful girl with the exact same beliefs and upbringing as me, and is far better looking and classier to boot. I don't regret a thing.

but nothing can replace that feeling when you two are together.. knowing that the girl you are holding has the same feelings yet she is a different person..

Knowing that your last few years you didn' waste on some bimbo and that the girl you are holding will take care of you once you fall ill or get hurt or are just plain faking being sick..

Knowing that makes it all worth it...

As for religion...I personally don't care how my girl feels when it comes to that, just as long as she lets me believe what I do and doesn't try to change that. In my opinion, religion is something completely personal, and if beliefs differ its not a big deal unless one of the persons wants it to be. From what I have noticed, a lot of the extremists will not allow you to be middle of the road, basically either you become extreme (any of the 3 extremes I guess) or you stay out of their life. Its too bad, the nicest girl I ever met was over the top religious which doesn't bother me one bit, she just wouldn't accept my beliefs and that basically ended our friendship.

i haven't asked for the necklace back. when she broke up with me, i didn't really say much, i was kinda in shock. and i haven't talked to her since. its wierd cuz things between us were awesome, everyone ive told is like SAY WHAT? and if i know her, she's gunna start feeling guilty and wanna talk to me cuz she's the one who ended it and she's prolly gunna feel like shit. but whatever, screw it, im done with her
