act 2100/fidanza

just installed a fidanza lightweight flywheel/act 2100 street disc combo in my 2g GST...now my pedal is very soft, comes up from the floor slowly, is very very light, and engages about 1/2 inch from the floor....IS THIS NORMAL?

This is my first clutch swap ever, completed in a little less than 8 hours...wow what a PITA that was

Did you bleed the clutch line? I'd start there.

Bleed system and properly adjust the clutch rod under the dash.

a lot stiffer than stock then? Mine is very very light, even after bleeding....I don't get it.

Re: act 2100/fidanza

The 2100 is not too much stiffer feeling then stock. I used to have one.

Check your push rod adjustment.

Did you bleed the clutch when the car was level? I have had problems before because of the front end being off the ground so it doesnt bleed right. Make sure its level and bleed it again. Its not to hard to do it while its on the ground.

hmmm..i did it on the ground, but my driveway is sloped. I'll try it again on level ground soon. Car's not running waiting on the new turbo!
