Qwest blows arse
 

Anyone else have Qwest DSL internet? I swear there has not been a month where it hasn't gone down. It seems so unreliable. Now I have had no internet access through them since Wednesday. I'm on a friends computer now so I can check my email for the first time in like 5 days. I'm about ready to drop them and get something else because it's getting to be real annoying. Anyone else have them and having similar issues?

As much as I hate the company as a whole, Charter's Cable is better than my old Time Warner Road Runner shit we had in Bloomington. Fuck Qwest.

seem ok for me, but i have to reset the modem a couple time a week for 1 or 2 weeks and then it's fine for a few months and then we do it all over again. Have you tried resetting your modem?

we have eschelon, which is a local company that is giving ius a better deal... giving my dad a better deal, and the speeds went waaaay down for our dsl. pretty stupid.

i like quest service better.

Yup, all I have to say is that, besides the storm, I would not have gone in to work the other night if it was not for Qwest bitches...

they goofed up one of our dsl atms, so all of our dsl customers were out on their ass. Not that it mattered, no one in the city had power...

Qwest works fine for me.
A bit slower than Comcast but not really noticeable.

I prefer qwest than comcast b/c its cheaper and works just as good.

Charter is pretty good. Download at 300-600 kb/sec with the lowest cable internet the offer. Well for the most part never goes below 250 most of the time. :)

Wow, I finally got internet back today. But ya, I still am going to be looking for a different service as this is probably the 10th time my internet has gone down in the 3 months I've had them.

I used a Qwest DSL line from a business that was paid for & advertised to go 7 megs down 1 meg up. I was getting downloads around 150k only. As far as I'm concerned Qwest sucks.

Use Comcast cable internet - they also give the modem. Never had issues.
