Rock Falls Sept. 25th

Well, there is a $37 fun day on Sunday the 25th. That should be perfect for me as I hope to have my customer stuff done by then. Who else is going to head over there? At least it is close and I know I should get at least 5 runs in and be back in time to relax that night. No football though, so that kinda sucks.

Hey JET, not sure on what your expectations were at Cedar Falls but your mph for the first time at track was pretty good. 122mph is pretty good. My brother runs 126 with his Malibu and he's usually around 11.60's.

If you plan on going to Rock this coming weekend, maybe i'll get my stuff together and go too. My car is ready. Got turbo back from PTE a week ago. Runs pretty good. I was gonna go yesterday but i had nearly a full tank of 87octane in it and boost turned down. I got all week to burn it dry.

I like Rock Falls. It's close(1hr for me). Sure they don't prep the track much at all however a well prepped track = better chance of breaking driveline parts the way i see it.

I'm up for it... Found some slicks so hopefully I will break into the 12s with my 16g. Either that or break something on the car. :p

BTW: The track is prepped a hell of a lot better on fun days than it is on sport compact days! Plus there are less people there so you get more runs in. Hopefully it will cool down this week/weekend so we can get better runs!

I was running 122's two years ago and I dyno'd at 498 whp, so I was hoping for something in the 126 mph range. Hopefully everything will be sorted out for this next weekend. I am not going to work on my car until customer stuff is done though.

I might not be going. I need to get customer stuff done first. We'll see how things go.

I might just go watch. Havent seen quick cars in a while. Only a couple at those Sport Compact days. We'll see if Im up for it...maybe I'll run my car just to see how slow I've gotten.

I might go. There would have to be fast stuff there. If I have a job by then, I might race the conquest.

You should be able to hit 12s on slicks. What brand are you going to be running? I loved my M&Hs (12.74@113 1.89 60ft on a 16G)

I am thinking of going, but i am scared to break out there and not have a way back so i might depend on if my trailer is available/cleaned off by then

Well, since that is coming from the customer I was going to be doing stuff for, I might be going now! If the power ever comes back on so I can work on the other stuff.

Hmmm, that's interesting. I could have sworn I was a customer waiting for stuff too, but I guess I was wrong.
