im runnin the stock t25 turbo on my second gen with some mods. im wondering what would be a cheap turbo upgrade(if possible bolt to stock manifold) for now. would the first gen 14b be better? or what turbo would you recomend to get. i dont want insane lag im all about response. thanks

14b is a very smart upgrade. Better turbo all around. You have to get a couple different items to make it work. I think you need a Jpipe since the inlet is different on the 14b VS the T25.

i have more upgrades right now then just that i was just wondering. i have full exhaust intake bov ic piping and other mods. anyway ill start looking thanks

Not much of a difference between a 14b and 16g. If you do the 14b, then you can always upgrade to most anything later, since you will have the lines and everything set up already.

I would go to a 14b because it is cheaper and isn't too much of a difference. I did the swap on my 2g a long time ago. I don't think you will really get a HP increase, but it will hold boost to redline. Btw, the 14b will feel really laggy compared to the t to small the first few times driving it.

thanks. ill start lookin for one. i wanna push somethin like 350 whp properly and safetly by summer so i might just get a bigger one well see

any place around plymouth where i could find a used turbo or would you jsut suggest getting new. im thinking doing a bigger turbo then the 16g now.

anyway what hp are the stock injectors rated too or should i allow myself to use up to.
