talon:1 Cops:0

yeah, didn't exactly mean to do this on purpose... but when you AWD launch and take off racin the high schoolers, and the flashing red and white comes out of the side street, the thought of going to jail was to high, so I made a quick, (almost didnt make the turn) slow down for a lefty, then a block of two straight, then right then a left into a culdisac, jumped out and hid in the bushes behind some dudes house, the cop saw me make the first turn, but apperently not the next couple, but that broght him close... I could hear him roaring up the street. Most likely the gustyest dumbest thing i've ever done... considering it was a block from my house.... and I was out of gas as i rolled into the culdisac. I wonder how many people are gonna shake their fingers now, I'm not trying to make this sound cool, cause its not really, I almost crashed my car and went to jail, but I got lucky as hell....

Oh man I did that once. Cop caught me at the end instead. I made some turns into a dead end area and then dead. Luckily she gave me a Speeding Ticket for all that. Thank god. That was a long while ago

Yeah, the old "Fight or Flight" mechanism kicked in. I have done that before, so I can't say too much. I had a major high speed chase once and called it quits after that. Now with this stupid lose your license for 6 months if you are going over 100 law, it may change my mind depending on the circumstances. I definately don't condone it, but we are all adults and you make your own choices.

I've done it...I'm sure a lot of us have. Thats the benefit of owning a very fast car.

You physically cant drive faster than a radio =/ I'm way against it. PPL get hurt doing this. Granted it would be THE RUSH from hell, but it simply isn't worth it. Unless of course you " didnt know you were being chaseD". Then you just get a wrecklace which is better than a felony.

Yeah, I kinda with Josh on this one. There are situations in which I may not stop, but virtually no ticket is worth risking a felony for me. Thats not saying I care one way or the other if others do it.

Re: talon:1 Cops:0

I've done the same a couple of times. Once in almost the same way and got away. Second time was a U-turn on the highway at night. I had a brakelight disconnect, took a U-turn on the highway, killed all my lights, finished the turn and went back the other side of the highway with all lights on. Nowe that I think of it - that was one of the DUMBEST things I've done. Got lucky though!
I had two advantages - a brakelight disconnect so the cop cant see when I'm braking and I also had swinging license plates. You get them for about 120$ - they swing your licence plate into the car. Still a dumb thing for me to do anyway. What can I say - that was like 5 yrs ago and I was young and stupid with more balls than brains. LOL!!!

Re: talon:1 Cops:0

I've always said I'll do it given the right conditions. But I guess now in Anoka county they've made fleeing the police in a motor vehicle a felony (so you might want to think twice). I'm so fed up with the cops cracking down on honest working people for things like speeding and no front plate. Where's the crack down on car break ins? Oh, yeah that's right they can't make money doing that and since most people are covered by insurance they don't really give a fuck either.

One time I did all the detective work to track down the address of someone who stole my credit card info. Gave the info to the police and they asked if my credit card company had reimbursed me for the fraudulent charges. I said yes and they then said they probably wouldn't do anything about it in that case and had the attitude of "why should I care?".

Fuck the police. -NWA

Nice kill!

I was going to say I've never done it but I remembered I passed a parked Highway Patrol at 130 mph when I was in high school. He came after me for a minute, but I was so far gone I don't think he bothered.

If you guys had any idea of how busy cops are even on a typical day, you'd see why they don't chase down every little thing. I've never been bothered about not having a front plate. In fact I forget to even put on a plate half the time when I'm transporting cars. I haven't been pulled over for 10 years.

My cousin tried to run from a cop before when I was in it. He told the cop that he was sending me home, but the cop knew that he was lying and told my cousin to tell the truth of else have his car towed. So my cousin told the truth and got a speeding ticket. It was pretty funny listening to him lie. You could tell he was lying so badly...:D. I probably wouldnt run from a cop these days. You'd get in too much crap for it.
