Well I was reading a thead about IPods on another board and found out a little fact that is very interesting. If your battery dies and needs to be replaced, Apple charges $250 plus other fees to fix you IPod and if you want to fix it, they're the only place to fix it. Check out this website: Looky Here

And that is why anything made by Apple sucks.

I am almost positive that is no longer true and thew newer iPods batteries are supposed to last longer.
|
I do know that IPods are very touchy when it comes to handling. A buddy of mine sat on his one day and his screen no longer works.
|
Sounds like an overpriced piece of crap to me then.

I have an iPod and it is about 18 months old and the battery is almost as good as it was when I first got it. The new iPods with the dock connector dont have the battery problem. If you dont want to send your iPod to Apple, there are places on the internet what sells iPod batterys for $40-60. I think it is overpriced but you should just go out ant play with it. It has the best user interface of any mp3 player out there. It is also small and light and it still holds 10-20 gb of songs.

Sometimes mine wont turn on for a few days on end, then it will just wake up...
not really sure what the deal is, it doesnt seem to like the cold either...but i guess not too many electronic devices do... Adam |
