Congratulations to Peter and Jason R !!! They both took first place at the cook out!

Peter - best 1g in show
Jason R - Best 2g in show, 3rd year in a row.

I knew exactly who was going to win the 1g class, but the 2g was probably a close call. There were a couple really nice ones.

I'm glad I went, it was my first year out. Granted I didn't have a car there, but I got to ride with jason to and from the show :D !!!

Where was Peter's 1G at? The only 1G that I saw that I thought was outstanding was Derek H's car. I love the empty, simple and clean engine bay.

It feels awesome! I really went into this show not expecting anything at all after last year haha, but it turned out well and Im happy. It is a good ending to an awesome learning experience, as I did technically sell the car and as soon as the rest of the money appears it belings to its new owner :( but im also :) because I just need something else at the moment.

Yea my car isnt as empty under the hood but everything that I could get rid of is gone. Kept AC, PS, Battery up front ect... Dereks car is very very nice and is a bit cleaner but it was totally redone and mine is pretty much polished up stock paint.

Dont give yourself too much credit! Looks like some people thought you did a pretty good job... Congrats to Both of you!!
