I was wondering how much you guys are paying for your dsm. Also, I want to figure out a estimate if i do plan on buying one. Can i get make, model, age, driving record, and how much you pay every month or every 5 months however your setup is. Thank you.

I actually got a quote from Progressive recently and if I wasn't covered through my uncle for cheap, they said it would be ~$240/mo. for their "recommended" medium coverage plan (all basics, and limited collision). I'm 21 and pretty bad/poor driving record but no DUI/OWI.

You should do a search. We've had this same post about 5 times in the past year or so. Not saying it's bad to post about this, but most of us have already answered this question many times.

I was paying $230/month with progressive, I just switched to State Farm and now I'm paying $105/month for my 2g.

I agree. First thing I thought was.. " omg, 100000000 times later!."

I paid 240 a month for just liability. Mine was a bad scenerio though. My record is fine. Having a DSM doesnt really change liability coverage, thats more of a full coverage thing. 1gs arent worth full coverage unless your older with an ok record. Then the cost diff isnt much.

52 a month just liability on a 92 Galant VR-4, which is not classified as anything other than a passenger vehicle accodring to my insurance company. When I take it off to put my Talon on, it will go up to 92 a month because the Talon is considered a sports car, did I bother to tell them it was the same motor and driveline? No! ;)

Well, mine is totall bullshit! I JUST got the bill today..total for a 92 eclipse gsx, under my dad's name, and liability only, is $3,297 a year! WTF!! I am almost 20, pretty clean record, and what is this!?
