Where did it go?
 

Maybe a month or so ago, I was at a place in White Bear Lake where a private seller can park their cars to expose it to many people called Owner to Owner.

I found an early '92 smurf blue GSX with 18,xxx miles on it. It was an auto though... Anyways, Flawless car, perfect condition, black leather, sun roof, original window sticker, etc. Guy wanted $7,000 for it. Where did it go? Anyone here buy it by chance? I drooled and drooled over it... I wanted it SO bad (haha I was gonna swap in a manual... considering the condition, it would be SO worth the effort). Anyone of you would probably have gotten weak in the knees seeing this car... It was truely that nice.

That is quite a bit high for that car, even with that mileage on it.

I would rather get a cheap one and fix it up than pay 7000 for a 1g. For 7000, you can get a 2g with a 6 bolt swap that the 6 bolt was just rebuilt.

Yeah, but book value means shit for these cars. The right buyers will pay top dollar for the right condition DSM. My car has been on 2 sites (here and MNSC) and I've had several people interested. But 2 that seem serious are trying to talk me down. That's why I started at 7500, and now dropped to 6500 on both sites.

Ive been thinking really hard about selling my 1G also... so if your really into blue you can buy mine. Just took me almost a year to redo a bunch of shit to it. It wouldnt be cheap though... Id have to look for the right buyer.... as I would want about 8K....

That place is still around!? I sold a car there back in 2001...man that car sucked, 1989 ford thunderbird.

I thought cher got 11 or so, but I am pretty sure that ad said something about having a 60 trim on it so it wasn't his.

i saw that car too long time ago though probably 3-4 months or even more ago nice blue gsx but it was auto so i didnt want to look at it anymore but it was super clean.

It was hott. I want it! I'd pay maybe $5-6k for it, and swap in a nice Shep racing tranny.

Uh, I'm pretty sure it was 617whp when he sold it for about $11k. And why is it so bad he drives that SC 300? It has potential to make more power than your car. And it has dish.
