Ok, first off, no one call me a ricer. I don't wanna hear it. Most of all these mods are performance anyway, so bit me..

I woke up this morning with a complete vision in my head..call me crazy. Since my car is black cherry (maroon) I figured I'd keep it at that. But, I wanna get a carbon fiber oem hood, of better or great quality, that will work through winter and all. Some z3 fenders, to get rid of the small spot of rust I have. I also want to lower it, fix the camber, and get some swaybars for handling. I was also looking at rims, and I know they will end up being bronze..I am leaning towards the raze r-74 rims, with some dunlop fm901 tires or so. I Want to get some front canards/splitters, like these..

Then, I want to get some HID headlights again, cause i miss them dearly. But, no one seems to make projector headlights for the 1g dsm..arg. it's a 1992 gsx, btw. Anyway, I can totally see this finished product in my mind, but can anyone else see it? Does it look good? Also, where can I get all of this stuff, cause I don't know what hood to get, or where. I don't know what suspension to get, and I know that the camber is adjusted via the upper spring perch..must i bore out the bolt holes to move the upper mount point in or out? What swaybars could I upgrade to? Where can I get canards that would fit the bumper? Anyone think of other ideas? I am compiling a list right now of stuff, so I can start sometime, and check them off as i go...

..scratch the front canards..wouldn't look right for this car..i'd get traction elsewhere, and the tracks i'd go to prolly wouldn't even be fast enough to warrant the use of them anyway..

You just want on rear ST sway bar, not the full set. I wouldn't go with Dunlop tires either, they are pretty crappy. Get some Falken Azenis' or Kumho MX's for a similar price. As for the rest of it, to each his own. If that is what you want, then do it!

Check eBay and Tuners as I am 99% sure there are projector headlights available for 1Gs.

Coming from a 1G guy: Considering your color, (I know you dont like this) black rims would look SO good, along with a carbon hood. A carbon hood for a 1G would be a nice weight reduction too, thos friggin hoods feel like they weigh a ton! Dropped on some nice JIC Magic FLT-A2 coilovers and a TSS (yes I know) rear camber kit. Fuck projectors, just polish up your headlights and paint the insides black. Then get REAL HIDs. That would be sexy in my mind...

Well, the hids would be real hids. I just thought that they are required to be behind a projector lens, as I've never seen them without a lens. I was thinking about tien ss-p coilover set, but I don't really have that kinda money to throw, so I am open for options.

well, I won't say it's slow and gay now. I have a new-found respect for your car. It's not slow, or gay, though some might question why an accord. However, I never had the kit, or huge ass rims, or seats with the belts mounted incorrectly..lol. I did have those chrome headlights though..tisk tisk.

Will I get poorer lighting without the projectors for the hids? I wish to know this, cause I really miss that look.

im not really into the colored rims. I dont like black rims either however gunmetal / graphite with a polished lip would look extremely good with a carbon fiber hood. OEM hood would look just like yours now, but CF. You can get other hoods like Vader and Evo style.. however it may not fit with your cams where they are. Z3 fenders, yuck run away. They look like ass many times they are installed. My buddy had a 1g with vader hood / Z3 fenders and it was white. I guess it looked tight ( minus his fucking drift body kit).

Do what you want. Dont concern yourself with what other people think.. unless of course you develope a VERY crazy idea!

Well, I have a new idea. I think the z3 fenders will be scratched..atleast for now. I like the oem cf hood, so I will do that. Also, those raze r-74 rims are what i will get. I still think bronze, like the te-37's.

I wanna get a seperate gas tank, and fuel setup. I mean, people go to elite, dyno, and make 600whp or whatever, but that's on race gas. Not too many drive around each day with race gas filled in their tanks. However, I want to have that option, and hook it up to a remote tank..something like a 2 gallon tank, mounted in the trunk..bad idea? lemme know.. :cool:

uh no. I am not like that at all. I like clean, hence no bodykit, no z3 fenders..just a cf hood, rims drop..that's it. hell, the dual tip exhaust still looks stock, and if it wasn't for the sound, people would think it is stock. I like to have that subtle look..where i turn a few heads, but not too many..till i am past them.

lol settle down? It's not like im getting my panties in a bunch because you want to do what you want to do to your own car. You can do whatever you want, it's your car. If you want to roadrace, shouldn't you be thinkin' of big brakes and shit too?
