Galant VR4 for sale at a dealer
 

Hey everyone,

Someone on MNSC mentioned that a dealer up in Duluth is selling a Galant VR4 with some engine problems. The website says $2495, but it sounds like he offered it up for $1600 to the kid on MNSC. Here is the website:

The kid on MNSC isn't going to buy it, so its up for grabs. $1600 is probably a little high if the engine truely is toast. But, who knows...

I just talked to the guy that owns the lot and he said the turbo is gone on it, well it his words he said "it doesn't have any zip". But I asked him if it was smoking or what not and he said it wasn't so I doubt the turbo is gone. Sounds like a bad boost leak or a timing issue to me. Might be a easy money maker for someone willing to get it and fix it. The guy said it is black and the body is in decent shape.

I went looking for it yesterday when I was in D, but could not find it on the lot. Anyone know if it sold?

I wouldn't suggest buying it. I'm sure there is something major wrong with it. It has been there for over a year. I drive by it all the time. They don't sell many cars there at all. I have seen cars there that havent moved in well over a year.

I concur with TalonTsi85. I have have seen this car in person. I would give the body a 6.5/10 with rust peeking out from under the car. I though about offering him $1000 a while back but then by pure happenstance I found a mint condition 91 (number 977/2000) in the cities for $600 lol!
