2 questions..
 

First, how do I paint a valve cover? I got some red metalcast duplicolor paint and the ground coat stuff too..what all should I do to prep it? I put it in the parts bin and everything..

Second, how can I clean the motor to look really clean? I wanna make sure I took care of the oil leak, and with it all over the place, it's rather hard to find the leaks..

you can get engine degreaser in spray cans you can spray on the undercarriage to get rid of oil from an oil leak. You should be carefull about where any liguids are going in there though. Don't want to short anything or get water inside your cylinders.
